'Agents of Change Leading from the Front Line':
On 19 May 2017, at the Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College's 'Blue and Blue Lunch', two remarkable Monte women, Captain Catherine Wallis, the Commandant of the Royal Australian Air Force College and Karlie Brand, a leading business strategist and Deputy CEO of 'Soldier On', addressed those present at the function which was held at New South Wales Parliament House.
The lunch provided the opportunity to raise funds for the 'Blue Ribbon Bursary Appeal' which enables the College to offer financial support to families facing extraordinary hardship. This support allows young women to continue their Mercy education.
Earlier this month, a number of the Sisters of Mercy North Sydney were interviewed by Year 7 students of Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College, North Sydney, and stories were shared, as the students embark on their 'Pilgrimage' as they commence their Mercy education.
