The Mercy Mission and Heritage Centre, honouring the history and transformational works of the Sisters of Mercy North Sydney, was opened in historic Stormanston House in May.

News: A Treasured Teacup and Saucer

While at Baggot Street in Dublin earlier this month, Loreto Conroy RSM, Congregation Leader of the Sisters of Mercy North Sydney, was given a cup and saucer which belonged to Catherine McAuley, Foundress of the SIsters of Mercy. The cup and saucer, which is part of a set displayed in Baggot Street's International Room, was brought by Catherine from 'Coolock' where she had spent many years of her earlier life . The cup and saucer will be placed in the Sisters' 'Mission and Heritage Centre'.

News: Mercy Leaders Meet in Dublin

Early this month, Mercy Leaders from around the world came together for the Annual General Meeting in Dublin. The photograph above shows all the Mercy Leaders at the AGM. News: The 2017 'Blue and Blue Lunch'

'Agents of Change Leading from the Front Line': On 19 May 2017, at the Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College's 'Blue and Blue Lunch', two remarkable Monte women, Captain Catherine Wallis, the Commandant of the Royal Australian Air Force College and Karlie Brand, a leading business strategist and Deputy CEO of 'Soldier On', addressed those present at the function which was held at New South Wales Parliament House. The lunch provided the opportunity to raise funds for the 'Blue Ribbon Bursary Appeal' which enables the College to offer financial support to families facing extraordinary hardship. This support allows young women to continue their Mercy education.

News: Pilgrimage - Sisters are interviewed by Year 7 Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College Students

Earlier this month, a number of the Sisters of Mercy North Sydney were interviewed by Year 7 students of Monte Sant' Angelo Mercy College, North Sydney, and stories were shared, as the students embark on their 'Pilgrimage' as they commence their Mercy education.
